Welcome to The Beagle Country Pub.
Previously known as The Barend Bar and Restaurant, The Beagle Country Pub has been under new ownership for a few years. We’ve named The Beagle after our family dogs, Sam and Charlie. If you’re lucky, Sam might even put in a guest appearance! Everyone is welcome; The Beagle is open to locals and tourists alike.
Our focus is on showcasing the best local ale, spirits and produce that Dumfries and Galloway can offer, sourcing other ingredients from across Scotland.
Working with the head chef we offer a varied, tasty menu, with additional daily specials. Our ethos is to prepare everything in house and fresh to order. Thank you for your patience during busy periods – in order to create the best food possible, there can sometimes be a little wait. We hope you and your family enjoy your meal with us.
